Synopsis:
As a leading international financial centre, Hong Kong plays a critical role in facilitating trade and investment. In the face of global economic uncertainty and shifting geopolitical landscapes, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the city’s de facto central bank, is navigating uncharted waters. The speaker will offer his perspective on the HKMA’s strategic response to these challenges and how Hong Kong can maintain its competitiveness and drive innovation in the financial sector.
