Objective:

Study political development in China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) as well as China’s foreign relations.

Objective:

The main objective is to conduct academic and policy-oriented research on the economics of contemporary China and East Asia. More specifically, we carry studies on the economic changes in China arising from its economic reform and open-door policy, the regional and global implications of the economic development of China. In addition, we monitor the developments in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, as well as China’s economic relations with Japan and Korea.
