The year 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation. This seminar will assess the achievements and challenges to this partnership in the past five decades. It will also anticipate the future challenges and opportunities to strengthen the ASEAN-Japan partnership for mutual benefits and a more stable, vibrant, and prosperous Indo-Pacific. The seminar gathers a stellar cast of Japanese and Southeast Asian scholars who will offer multiple perspectives on this enduring and future-oriented partnership.
