Synopsis:
Africa-China economic relations have deepened significantly over the past two decades, spanning trade, investment, infrastructure, and development finance. As global economic conditions evolve and geopolitical dynamics become more complex, understanding the nature, drivers, and future direction of Africa-China linkages has become increasingly important for policymakers, businesses, and international institutions alike.
This joint IMF-EAI seminar and book forum examines recent trends, shares insights from new research and practitioners, and discusses how Africa-China engagement can be made deeper and broader in the years ahead. It builds on the recently published IMF book: Africa-China Linkages: Building Deeper and Broader Connections.

Registration is required for this seminar. Please note that the seminar is held under Chatham House Rule.
