Quantitative Proteomics Core

Description
The Quantitative Proteomics Core (QPC) at CSI Singapore, NUS, has a dedicated and experienced team supporting quantitative proteomics applications in biomedical research. We provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions for quantitative proteomics needs, from consultation to sample preparation, measurement, analysis, data storage, and data visualisation with in-house bioinformatics pipelines. Collaborators need to only focus on their experiments and pass their samples to us for processing. Contact us for discussion.

Technical Specifications
Q Exactive HF hybrid quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometer
TimsTOF fleX in combination with an EASY-nLC 1200 uHPLC system or an Evosep ONE
Data analysis is performed on an in-house server using the freely available quantitative proteomics software package MaxQuant
Provide quantitative mass spectrometry solutions
Support researchers in using SILAC (Stable Isotope Labeling by Amino Acids in Cell Culture) or label-free quantitation (LFQ)

Model
NA

Manufacturer
NA

Application
• LCMS/MS for quantitative proteomics
• Imaging-MS (still initialising)

Special Remarks
We hope to provide a complete package following unique experimentation in the collaborators’ own laboratories to greatly reduce the barrier to entry to quantitative proteomics. To take away the need to learn and specialise in sample preparation and technicalities, and leave it to the QPC team which does it routinely. Please approach us for discussion prior to performing the experiments as we wish to also know more and discuss about your experimental designs and control setups which are critical for high quality and meaningful quantitative proteomics experiments.
