Description
The IVIS Spectrum is CMIF’s optical imaging system capable of bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging. The imager takes full advantage of optical probes with wavelength across the blue to near infrared region.
Technical Specifications
High sensitivity CCD for bioluminescence or fluorescence imaging with 23 cm field of view
High resolution (to 20 microns) with 3.9 cm field of view
The instrument is equipped for high sensitivity measuring probes between 490 to 850 nm with 10 narrow band excitation filters (30nm bandwidth) and 18 narrow band emission filters (20 nm bandwidth).
Spectral unmixing using discrete band pass filters can separate signals from multiple fluorescent reporters within the same subject
