Project Summary

Feel Singapore is a pilot part of a larger project on crowdsourcing public perceptions on the built environment, exploring how people experience Singapore’s urban spaces through sensory dimensions. Using an interactive online map and short anonymous surveys, the project gathers public perceptions on built environment indicators: temperature, soundscapes, and neighbourhood change in the city. By visualising these responses, the project aims to capture diverse lived experiences and identify spatial patterns of comfort and discomfort, understand how environmental stressors shape urban wellbeing, and experiment with participatory methods for mapping lived experiences in rapidly changing urban environments.
